In my time at University of Georgia as Fashion Merchandising major, I took a course viewing trend forecasting in apparel, textiles, and home furnishings and interiors at the level of design and merchandising.

In this course, I looked at the interaction of shifts in fashion, culture, and consumer lifestyles and analyze upcoming trends using academic and popular culture resources to create forecasts, which interpret the future of consumer/retailer demand regarding color, fabric, merchandising, and design elements.
